The XK150 was known for its sophisticated design, powerful performance, and role in the British automotive history. It was produced with a traditional separate box-type steel chassis, like its predecessors. The XK150’s production ended in October 1960, and it was replaced by the E-Type in 1961.
We purchased this project in parts from someone that had run out of space and the time to complete the project, just a bunch of parts, a body, and a chassis. Due to the lack of original parts and providence we chose not to restore it but to build it with a classic look yet embracing some of the modern upgrades such as power steering, electric aircon, bucket seats, and a Tremec 5 Speed gearbox which would give the ultimate driving experience. Still a work in progress when it comes to the total finished project and exactly how it will develop and grow, we look forward to this journey.
