This Pegoda was not what we would term a full restoration under the Garagisti umbrella, but rather a collaboration between two like-minded people with an ability to see the bigger picture. The Pegoda arrived literally in a million pieces, having already been stripped down to the bone with no record keeping or pictures taken during the strip down process and plenty of missing, damaged, and faulty parts. We approached this project with a “how do you eat an elephant” mentality ….”one bite at a time”. With plenty of hard work, research, and late nights we put her back together, restoring where we could and replacing where we could not. A true Cinderella story, the first car in the Garagisti workshop and the first car out the workshop. The start of our journey.
